For a lot of our patients and their families, summer brings a chance to get away from it all and escape every-day life, if only for a week or two. For others, it means a season of relaxation and relief from homework and other duties.

For many of our past patients, the Fourth of July is a day of fireworks, picnics, playing at the lake or spending quality time with family. Most folks recognize Independence Day as a time to celebrate and commemorate the anniversary of the signing of our Declaration of Independence. It's also a time to pay homage to all our soldiers - past and present - who continue to place themselves in danger every day so that Americans everywhere may celebrate our freedom.
